The PIM3605 series is manufactured by Technosoft Motion, and is an intelligent plug-in module for brush-less, DC brush and step motors. It is a fully digital servo amplifier with embedded intelligence and PLC functionality.

There is a RS-232 serial communication and CAN bus 2.0B of up to 1 Mbit/s, or CANopen bus. It also has a programmable digital input or outputs and analog inputs, which has a differential quadrature encoder and Hall sensors interface.

The unit has a single power supply of 12 to 42 V with high current capability of 5 A in continuous and 16 A in peak current. It also has a protection to over current, short-circuit, earth fault, over and under voltage, I2t and control error.
